5 Things You Didn't Know About Nikki Bella

5 Things You Didn't Know About Nikki Bella

5. She Almost Didn’t Join WWE

The Bella Twins almost didn’t join WWE because they
didn’t like the idea of relocating to Tampa Florida.
They wanted to focus on their acting and modeling careers
and it was only when WWE representatives talk to their mother Kathy Colace that
they reconsidered the offer.

4. She was Married for 3 Years

In one of the episodes of Total Divas, Nikki shared one of
her secrets that at the age of 20 she married her high school sweetheart but
the marriage was annulled after almost 3 years.
It came as a big surprise to her family especially to her
brother JJ since she only mentioned about her marriage in 2014 – ten years
after it happened.

3. Nikki Used to Date Dolph Ziggler

Nikki and Dolph went out from 2008 to 2010 while they
were both working for WWE’s developmental promotion Florida Championship
Wrestling.
She had a well publicized conflict with then WWE Diva
Maria Kanellis and Maria claimed in some interviews that it started because
Nikki got jealous when she saw Maria dancing with Dolph in a bar.
Maria narrated that Nikki was infuriated and she
confronted her even though she explained that they were just friends.

2. She joined the International Body Doubles Twin Search
in 2006

In 2006, Nikki and Brie joined the International Body
Doubles Twin Search. There were 15 pairs who competed for the chance to be
considered as the Most Beautiful twins in the world.
Though Nikki and Brie were strong finalists – Sara and
Bruna Gontijo from Brazil won the competition.

1. She was a Soccer MVP

Before becoming the longest reigning Diva’s Champion in
the WWE, Nikki was pretty much involved with Soccer.
She got the MVP award on her freshman year when she was
playing for Chapparal High in Arizona.
Her team won a state title and she was eventually offered
a full scholarship in Arizona State University.

The offer was revoked because of a serious injury and she
ended up playing for Grossmont University.
